About Mrs. Ashley

My name is Ashley Muir, I graduated from Utah Valley University with a dual major in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. My license and education enable me to teach every grade from Preschool to 8th Grade. I have taught in various preschool settings for 4 years, with most of my student teaching being done on the Kindergarten level. Following graduation I taught 1st Grade for two years prior to taking a short break to become a stay at home mom. Currently I have run and taught the preschool in my home for 7 years. I have been married to my amazing husband for 15 years and we have 4 children, three girls and one boy ages (12,9,5,5).

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a teacher. My main purpose in spending the extra time and money to major in both Early Childhood Education as well as Elementary Education was to one day achieve my goal of having a preschool in my home. I love children! My favorite part about teaching is watching children’s faces light up when they learn something new. Preschool is a fun age to teach because each learning experience is new and exciting to children; it is a treat to be able to watch them discover things for the first time! This will be my eighth year teaching out of my home. I look forward to this new school year and I can’t wait to get to know you and your little one!
